The Family Youth and Community Sciences Club was established in 1996 by the students enrolled in the major. The purpose of the FYCS Club is to enhance educational goals and promote career understanding in the FYC field. The FYCS Club is a proactive student organization that is committed to the academic and professional betterment of its members by promoting a myriad of functions and activities such as:

• Community volunteering
• Leadership workshops
• Social events
• Career development opportunities
• Guest speakers

The FYCS Club is a Student Government sponsored and funded student organization, and is represented in the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences' Student Agricultural Council.
